The assessment aims to establish a foundation for a scalable, secure, and resilient technology infrastructure for the Client's application stack, in order to:

‍AI Maturity and Roadmap: Assess whether AI is being leveraged by the product and a roadmap for AI adoption, or if AI has the potential to disrupt the Client’s business.

‍Assess Readiness to Scale: Determine if the Company’s platform, infrastructure, and team can support rapid growth.

‍Technology-Market Fit: Validate whether the technology aligns with current and future market demands (e.g., AI disruption, open banking).

‍Operational Maturity: Ensure engineering processes, software development discipline, documentation, and tools can sustain team expansion and onboarding and deliver reliably, consistently, securely, and quickly.

‍Cost Implications: Highlight hidden costs related to tech debt, inefficient architecture, or vendor lock-ins.

‍Team: Identify the strength and scalability of the team.

‍Metrics: Identify the use, tracking, and communication of Product, Engineering, Business & Financial, and Operational Metrics.

‍Security: Ensure reasonable protection of sensitive data and systems, adherence to regulatory frameworks and certifications, and overall reduction of operational risk.

‍Technology IP & Technology Legal Focus Areas: Establish code ownership rights, licenses used/needed, use of Patents, Trade Secrets, Confidential Algorithms, and Know-How. Establish the use of appropriate legal notices and disclaimers, and surface any encumbrances, existing litigation, regulatory investigations, or risk exposures.
